Dongbo Shi


Dongbo Shi completed his B.Sc. in 2009 and M.Sc. in 2011 from the Graduate School of Biostudies, Kyoto University, Japan. Under the supervision of Dr. Tadashi Uemura in Kyoto University and Dr. Toshihiko Fujimori in National Institute for Basic Biology in Okazaki, Japan, he received his Ph. D. degree in 2014 for his work on how Celsr1 is required for the generation of polarity at multiple levels of the mouse oviduct. This paper was featured on the cover of Development, 141, 4558-4568 (2014). He is now working as a NIBB research fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Toshihiko Fujimori. He is now interested in the mechanical aspects of the three-dimensional morphogenesis of the oviduct epithelium.
