Hidehiko Inomata

Hidehiko Inomata currently holds a position as senior research scientist at the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology (CDB). He received his Ph.D. in 2003 from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where he studied phosphorylation of the amyloid precursor protein (APP) dependent on JIP-1b. He then moved to the CDB in 2003 to work as a postdoctoral fellow and was later promoted to senior research scientist in 2012. In 2011, he was also appointed as a researcher of the PRESTO program by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). His current research interest is examining the robust stability of the embryonic axial pattern in Xenopus development, in particular, the size-dependent self-regulation of the axial pattern.
