Ikue Mori

Ikue Mori received her B.S. from Ochanomizu University in 1980, and entered the graduate program in population genetics at the same university, spending 1982-3 at the University of Sussex, U.K. as a visiting graduate student. After receiving her master's degree, she served as a visiting graduate student at the National Cancer Center Research Institute, before entering the Washington University School of Medicine, where she received her Ph. D. in genetics in 1988. She returned to Japan as assistant professor in the Kyushu University Department of Biology in 1989, taking a position as associate professor at Nagoya University in 1998. She was appointed professor at Nagoya University in 2004.
