About CDB

CDB Organization

From November 2014, the CDB labs have been reorganized into four fundamental research programs: the Cellular Environment and Response Research Program, the Organogenesis Research Program, the Stem Cells and Organ Regeneration Research Program, the Developmental Biology and Mathematical Science Program as well as a Research and Development Program, which will seek to develop new biomedical technologies based on CDB research results. Additionally, taking advantage of RIKEN’s programs for promoting collaboration with industry, the RIKEN CDB-Otsuka Pharmaceutical Collaboration Center (COCC) was established at the CDB in September 2016.
